In Production

16-Jan-2020
Elements SFX - Special Effects Company in London UK

We have a number of different projects currently in production, and as always until they go on general release we can’t talk about what we’ve been up to on each job.

However, once they’ve been announced we can say what they are and maybe give you a few hints so check out down below to see what’s keeping us busy right now!

Features

Coming out later this year will be The Nest (BBC Films) starring Jude Law and Carrie Coon, as well as Made In Italy (CrossDay/Indiana) which features Liam Neeson and Lindsay Duncan. We’ve also just finished filming Louis Wain (Amazon/Studiocanal - Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch) and The Dig (Netflix - Lily James, Carey Mulligan and Ralph Fiennes).

TV

Given the recent scramble for studio space that’s resulted from the (some would say disputed ) Streaming Wars, we’ve been very busy on various different TV shows, with all the various channels/platforms looking to woo viewers and subscribers.

Hot off the press is the script for a super top secret and yet to be announced show for Apple TV. Keep an eye on our site as we'll share more info as and when we can!

Johnny and Nick were both excited to make Friends(!) with David Schwimmer on the set of the new Sky production Intelligence, and I’m sure they both learned something while doing Sex Education 2 for Netflix. Also in the Netflix stable is the second series of the very successful black comedy After Life from Ricky Gervais.

After a brief(ish) stint on Grantchester Season 5 for ITV, we spent quite a bit of time on Season 23 of Silent Witness for the BBC (Dead Head out Jan 2020).

Anybody into quiz shows will remember the coughing scandal surrounding the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire episode back in 2001, and the upcoming ITV mini-series Quiz tells the story of the former army major who was at the centre of it all. Stephen Frears directs and Michael Sheen takes on the role of Chris Tarrant.

Rounding off this month’s action is Sky’s new show Two Weeks To Live (Mawaan Rizwan and Kerry Howard) which tells the story of a woman setting out on a secret mission to honour her father, who died under mysterious circumstances when she was a young girl.

So that’s it for now folks, but keep an eye out for any new updates!
